Park Budget Cuts Impact Access to Gyms, Fields
NEWS: Tempers flared at last Wednesday's Palisades Park Advisory Board (PAB) quarterly meeting over the inability to use the Field of Dreams on holidays.
During public comment at the board's meeting at the Recreation Center, Huntington resident Stuart Liner said that he had tried to take his three sons to the baseball fields on Martin Luther King Day, but the gates were locked.

More than 110 kids from 15 schools participated in the first Pacific Palisades Spelling Bee on Sunday, and Honorary Mayor Sugar Ray Leonard was on hand to present trophies to the winners.
