Bringing Home the Oscars

Forest Whitaker, a 1979 graduate of Palisades High School, is joined by his wife Keisha as he enters the Vanity Fair part at Morton's, holding the Oscar he won for best actor in "The Last King of Scotland."

Paliades resident Laurie David, wife of Larry David, won the Oscar for best documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth." David was executive producer of the global-warming film starring Al Gore.
